Check-In and Check-Out

What time is check-in?

Check-in begins at 3:00 PM. Early check-in may be available upon request for an additional fee.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is at 11:00 AM. Late check-out may be arranged based on availability and may incur additional charges.

Reservations and Payment

Do I need a credit card to book a room?

Yes, a valid credit card is required to secure your reservation.

When do I pay for my stay?

Payment is due upon check-in unless stated otherwise in your booking confirmation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before check-in to avoid a one-night charge.

Deposit and Damages

Is a deposit required?

No, a deposit is not required. However, we do require a credit card on file to charge for any damages or missing items after your departure.

What happens if there’s damage to the room?

Guests are responsible for damages or missing items during their stay. The cost will be deducted from the charge to the card on file.

Smoking Policy

Can I smoke in my room?

No, smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms. However, ashtrays are provided outside each room, and guests are welcome to smoke outdoors. A cleaning fee of $200 will be charged for smoking in non-designated areas.

Pet Policy

What is your pet policy?

We understand that pets are part of the family, and we’re happy to accommodate you and your furry friends in our designated pet-friendly rooms. Please carefully read the following policies to ensure a comfortable stay for everyone:

  • Limited Availability: We have only two pet-friendly rooms, and they are in high demand. Guests must make a phone reservation for these rooms, as online bookings for pet-friendly rooms are not accepted.
  • Pet Fee: A non-refundable pet fee of $20.00 per pet, per night, applies.
  • Disclosure Requirement: All pets must be disclosed at the time of reservation and check-in. Failure to disclose pets prior to arrival may result in a one-time $50.00 deep cleaning fee, subject to room availability.

Pet Etiquette and Rules

  • Pets must remain on a leash and be attended to when outside guest rooms, in consideration of other guests.
  • Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets while on the property.
  • Pets should not be left unattended in guest rooms or vehicles. Our staff reserves the right to access rooms daily for housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and security purposes.

Health and Safety

  • Animals posing a health or safety risk, including those that cause damage, undue disruption, or demonstrate aggression, may not remain on the property. This includes pets that are too numerous for one room.
  • Service animals assisting individuals with disabilities are always welcome. However, service animals that pose a health or safety risk may also be required to leave.

  • Unattended pets that prevent staff from servicing rooms may result in the guest being asked to vacate the property.
  • By booking a pet-friendly room, guests agree to comply with these policies to ensure a pleasant experience for all.

Occupancy Limits

How many people can stay in a room?

Our occupancy limits are as follows:

  • Single Room: Maximum of 2 people
  • Double Room: Maximum of 4 people
  • Three-Bed Room: Maximum of 6 people

Additional guests must be approved in advance and may incur extra charges.

Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT)

Do you charge a Municipal Accommodation Tax?

Yes, a 4% MAT is added to the room rate, as required by the municipality of Nipigon.

Parking

Is parking available?

Yes, complimentary parking is provided for registered guests. We also have a large parking area suitable for trucks and larger vehicles. However, we are not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to vehicles or belongings.

What if I violate a policy or behave inappropriately?

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone violating our policies or displaying inappropriate behavior.

Do I agree to these policies when I book?

Yes, by booking with us, you agree to follow all our policies.

What happens if I lose or leave something behind?

We are not responsible for lost or left items. Please double-check your room before departure to ensure you have all your belongings.
